Description

The healthcare administrative unit within operational area 2 is co-organized at two of the hospital's four service points: Skövde and Lidköping. Approximately 45 employees work here, providing administrative services to, among others, the oncology clinic, surgery/urology clinic, surgical wards in Skövde/Lidköping, the urology ward, the palliative care unit, and the operating theater. Our operations span several areas, giving our team extensive knowledge and breadth. We are a crucial link in the care chain, and our operations depend on delivering the best possible service. We are now looking for a colleague to join our friendly unit, located within urology in Skövde.

Job Responsibilities

As a medical secretary, you will work with, among other things, surgical planning, appointment booking, medical documentation, mail handling, referral processing, and registration in quality registers. The work is varied, and you will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a team. You will also play an important role in the development and improvement work of the unit. We value initiative and a focus on development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university college (KY) or higher vocational education (YH) as a medical secretary or equivalent. Experience in the profession is meritorious. You should be thorough, structured, and flexible, with a good approach to patient interaction. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
